I pulled my inner and outer fairings for custom painting of my 05 Ultra. While off I adjusted the handle bars to be in line with the front forks. That raised them about 4 inches.

I'm not sure how that will affect the fairing when I reinstall. But I'm tall, wear trifocals and have one heck of a time seeing the rear view mirrors. So the higher I can go the better. I've already added extensions to the mirrors.

Now would be a good time to change out the bars if there's something that would adapt and not look ugly. Have room on the cables but would need to do something with the barke line.

Any thoughts/comments appreciated
