I don't understand why DynoJet got fined. They clearly state on their
advertising that the Power Commander is not for sale or use in the state of
California. If I lived in California, I'd still run one, but I wouldn't expect
DynoJet to pay the fine for me.
I guess Coke & Pepsi, Bud & Miller are the next targets to get fined.
Nothing like an ice cold CARBONATED beverage to quench your thirst.

Hey Hoffy,
I work in the auto industry in OBD and emissions. Actually chainsaws and lawn mowers are next. I have attended a number of CARB hearings and they have already headed down the slippery slope toward 50cc engine monitoring...
...and don't dare drive a diesel around there...

I live in California. Dynojet already sells an "X" model that doesn't allow adjustments in certain areas of the map, nobody wants them. Mine's from Kansas, for God's sake! We've had different regs for lawn mowers and chain saws for a few years already. You can't import a 49-state chain saw into our state through a dealer - they won't risk the fines. You have to go private party to do that. I was able to get a nice Kerosene heater through the mail this year despite the prohibition, I think I know better what's right for my home. Nowour new energy policy proposal contains a paragraph mandating new homes to have a tamper-proof radio-controlled thermostat that THE STATE could regulate in an "emergency", whatever that is. As a professional scientist, I always stand up to this cr*pwithin my community and to mylegislators. 99% of it is bunk, when that 1% comes I get on board. The cool thing is that Kali has the bikes, the guns, and the gals. Other than that, we sure to s*ck eggs. [:'(] The funny thing is, it's getting worse back in NJ where I hail from. [:-]
