RE: Satellite radio
How do you hard wire the aux jack on the HD radio, or do you just plug it in? Some one thought that there was an aux jack on the rear of the HD radio. This would allow are wires to be hidden.????

be cautuous and aware that not all the sat radios (Sirius) run on 12v. thus, you will need a connector that is designed to convert the power from the bike's 12 volt to 4.5 volts or so that some of the radios run on. quick way to smoke the radio if you're not careful. I added a power plug (cigarette lighter receptical) under my fairing to attach the power cord from my Sirius. Since then, I think that cyclegadgets.com or others have a power cord that reduces the voltage and allows for a direct hard-wire.
