I'm 6', though a bit longer in the torso. I got a 8" recurve from clearview and thought it was pretty close, but still a bit of buffeting on the top of my helmet. Then discovered they had acutally shipped me a 6.5" recurve! The labels were right, must have got mixed up in the shipping. Anyway, they paid for return shipping and my 8" is on the way. I anticipate it will do the job and will post when I get it. BTW, it was the smoke tint, which matches the stock SG windshield.

Ordered mine about a week ago just waiting for it now too. I have been through about 3 myself and have just not found the right one yet. Hoping the 6" recurve will do the trick

It's a 6.5". The recurve is an option you check.

I tried the 8" clearview recurve. Didn't quite do the job. I then purchased the 9.5 clearview...Awwww perfect!
I'm 5 10" using sundowner seat
ORIGINAL: cterrysgd

I've read a lot of posts on windshield heights and put a 9.5" HD windshield on today. Coverage was much better than the stock 4.5" shield. My question is if anyone has put an 8" clearview shield on with the recurve if that would give me just as much coverage as the straight 9.5" HD model?

Thanks!

I Got the 9.5 recurve for Christmas. I'm 6'1" and sit kinda tall in the saddle. I look over it so I got the dark tint. I think it looks good and more importantly it works great. I added the chrome fork baffle with it and it's a whole new ride at highway speeds. Love it.
