Default Various Lowering/ suspension packages?

Now that I finally decided and ordered my wheels, I will be planning to lower the front end of my 08 SGat minimum one inch, but I'm wanting to do it right, so I'm asking your opinion once again regarding which kit to use. The three I'm considering are:

HD 1" Lowering Kit-Basically as I understand, simply lowers the front end and has no real positive impact on ride performance.

Race Tech Inc lowering Kit w/ emulators-This kit is supposed to allow lowering of 1-2"'s but also not only lower, but actually improve the handling and performance from a real "performance perspective." Does anyone have anyreal world experience with the Race Tech kit?

Progressive Lowering Kit-This kit also has a peformance functioninherent in it's design along with the lowering capabilities of 1-2"'s. Anyone who using this kit, I would love to hear from you.

My plan was to only lower 1" but I'm wanting to do everything possible to not affect ride comfort by lowering, but rather improve via one of these kit's, if that is indeed possible.
Thanks in advance for any input!

Here is a set of progressive springs. With riders sag included, and this unit is a 1" lowered kit from Harley (HD complete kit) with Harleys own version of Gold Emulators found on a 2006 & up street glide. When doing the calculations, We determined that you had 1/2" of travel until you were out of the progressive part of the spring and into the stiff non-progressive part of the spring. (on this unit, it is a 1" HD lowered kit). This is nothing to do with Race Tech.

I would be happy to post our calculations if anyone is interested. We converted this unit over to our cartridges& springs (linear only & never progressively wound springs) to vastly improve the ride quality for one of our members on this forum.

Please check you upper and lower bushings as wear happens and most machanics do not catch this. This is due to the weight of the bike and the 4 1/2 degrees of triple tree rake + 26 neck rake degrees. When the wheel moves back and forth (front and backwards) it wears on the front side of the bushing.

As far as what you can expect in a scale of 0% to 100% (best the stock Harley forks can get) in improvements. [ul][*]0% = Stock[*]10% with non-shortened Progressively wound springs and thicker oil.[*]30% to 45% Race Tech linear wound springs and Gold Emulator valves.[*]100% Cartridges made for the aftermarket. [/ul]
