Default To Paint..or not to Paint...

.....that is the question.

Beating myself over the head with this. I'm currently fitting new parts on the scoot to insuretheir fit before sending off to the painter.
Main color will be House Of Kolor Tangelo Pearl.

Being the constantly changing SOB that I am...I know I'll end up getting yet another paint job in 3 years or so. Hell, I bought this scoot new and have already painted it once.

Anyway, I was wanting to paint the frame this time around but I know if I paint again in a couple years, I'll need to get the frame re-painted too.

I know that paint isn't nearly as durable as powder and I'll be constantly touching up the frame. Also, I'm not building a trailer queen...I actually ride mine!

With both these things on my mind, I'm beating myself up..."paint the frame...leave it black...paint the frame..."

I'm not looking for people to tell me what to do.I'd like to know what YOU would do?

I would leave the frame black - although color matched Tangelo would look pretty sweet.

if my ride was stripped, I would of painted the frame... but also my color is candy & black, so the stock black frame looks good....

I would leave it black if it were mine so I wouldn't have to strip it down to a bare frame just for paint, but then again, I'm lazy

and a black frame goes with any color......

They are doing some really nice color with powder now. If the main color is orange, and you have a secondary color that is less exotic, powder the frame that color... just sayin'...

Either Powder the frame or leave it..... Don't paint it.

I have made that mistake and regretted it later.
