Gum will work in a pinch - LOL! Couldn't help myself - I had to say it!! Actually, glad I read this post as I am going to be buying a set. I would agree with the Silicone instead of the tape. More secure hold!!

I wish HD made MATCHING bezels for the front speakers. I would really prefer to have the bezels match. The present HD speaker trim is out-of-place with the rest of the set.

 

How about this speaker trim?

 

i used the tape. where were you guys then i would have used silcone. it has to be much easier to work with and will probably last longer.

 

My younger brother did it for me as I dont have the patience to do it, he did use the tape and they have been there for a long time now.
