Default Drag Bars on a Roadking????

Hello to all....I've got a '04 roadking custom and I'm thinking about installing a set of drag bars on it...has anyone here seen a roadking with them??? does anyone know where to find any pics of one?? I've got a set of Chubby 508's on it now....but I took the bike to Detroit and left it at Bishops Performance to have a complete 113" build done to it...all the motor work is done I'm just waiting on the weather to warm up so Bill can get enough break-in miles on it to do the final tuning...I'm thinking with the new power it's going to have I will need some different bars on it as the 508's are more for laid back cruising....I know Carlini makes a clamp cover kit that has the holes for the risers to be installed....I was thinking of a set with the risers made onto the bars if I can get them with enough pullback so as not to be leaning too far forward all the time...if anyone knows where to find any pics I would appreciate it....

Thanks.....

It will probably take some trial fits, but the Carlini plate , a set of 2 or 4 " pull back risers and Drag Bars would definitly look cool and may work ergonomicaly. If the drags do not work, a set of the low Sportster / SuperGlide bars gives a good rise, width and pullback.

On my FXR I went with a set of custom 5" pullback risers that I made along with the Sportster / Superglide bars and it worked out great for positioning and looks.

Thanks for the reply...

I'm going to take some measurments when I get the bike back...but it will probably take some trial fits to get a set right...I was hoping someone else has installed some before and could recommend a set...[8D]

Don't think I have ever seen a RK with drags on it. Post a picture if you go that route. It would be interesting to see.

Maybe try going to Physco Chubby's web site. I think it's wild1physcochubby.com but not for sure. That's where I went to see some pictures off ape's for my Road King. Good luck.
