Default Staggered formation on twisty rodes

I like staggered position, my wife does too, but on twisty rodes I like to b positioned where I'm most comfortable and will swap between stagger and single. While ont walking drunk do you stagger on curves?

Anytime a rider feels that single file is necessary for safety.... they should signal for single file, even if the road master out frontdoes not. In addition to the above you mentioned, two other goodtimes are when the group is passing a vehicle, and also when the road warrants, ie: a guard rail makes the road too narrow...

I got a buddy that I ride with most of the time, been riding with him a long time too. We usually ride knuckle up on straightaways or curves we know and ride everyday, roads we don't know we go to staggered or for tight and back country we will go single file. He Likes riding suicide so I take the inside.

Safety first. When in a staggard position you can go single rider if staggard correctly. Thats why we are staggard [sm=bounceybounce.gif]. On straight long drives single riding in a group setting **** me off but on twisties staggard to single riding is ok with me even if we start off staggard. I am just glad the person in front of me is riding and safe. [sm=biker2.gif] Thing we have to remember is variables can cause problems on twisties. Normally on twisties I try to stay staggard just to force myself to improve on my driving abilities. That being said on a unknown twisty road, emergency situation, or just something unseen could and has happen to me before that made me take single ridinginstead of staggard. I always give the person in front of me enough room to go single rider when we ride staggard on twisties. That is the proper way for me. I am not good enough to know when an emergency is going to happen to the rider in front of me.
