I removed the muffler from the bike ... then removed the screw on the underside of the muffler. Inserted a broom handle and just punched the baffle out. It came right out easily. Entire process took about a half hour.

I dont see any screws other than the three button screws that look like they hold the endcaps on.
Do i have to take the endcaps off to get to the screws that hold in the baffles?

Help please!!

There should be 2 or 3 bolts. I forgot which number I think2 though. Youtake them off and if I remember correctly the nut is on the inside of the muffler. Then you take a set of needle nose plyers and pull the baffles out. I suggest to replace them with Big City Monster Baffles though. Keeps the compression so you dont loose power and gives you the straight pipe sound. You can also get it inspected legally with them in the pipes.

Hope this helps.

I would call them instead of ordering off the internet. Best way to make sure you get the right product.

I think I read you have a 2008. Ok if you have SE II pipes and they fit your bike you can use the Monster baffles but you have to get a lot more done. A Race tuner the works at the dealership to make it work right. If you have already done that then you will have to have it re dynoed to make it work right. More complicated after 2006 models.

I wouldn't get those Big City baffles unless you are only interested in making noise. I got a set and they so ruined the performance I took them back out after about 20 miles and got rid of them on EBAY.
I thought they where a total waste of money!!!
