RE: Street Glide - Perfect Windshield Height
I have a windshield in just about every size there is. It depends on your height, torso length vs legs etc. I also believe the real "chopped" look stops at 6-6.5", but I do have an opaque 7" Cee Bailey standard shaped shield that works for me 80% of the time. At 6' I've found it to be the near perfect size. If I'm going for a long ride, (over 200 miles or so), I usually either put the 9" Cee Bailey standard shape, or the 13" Cee Bailey SSC on the bike. The latter will give you the ulitmate in wind protection. Check them out at www.ceebaileys.com.

Since I dont even have my SG yet, and it won't be delivered until March, can I ask just how easy or how hard it is to change windshields on a SG?

you need to figure WS height, Seat Height, and the type of Helmet you use.
I'm only 5'!0", but I need to use a 9.5 Clearview recurve to control buffeting to a acceptable amount.
My HJC sits up in the air quite a bit. If I use a brain bucket, I can get away with just an 8" WS.
