LETS ALL MAKE A POST OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED!

I AM GETTING AROUND 32 MPG
I HAVE A 2008 ULTRA CLASSIC V&H OVALS, JUST ORDERED POWER COMMANDER FORM FUEL MOTO(JAMIE WAS A BIG HELP)

I LIVE IN VENTURA IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

Gas mileage won't be the same under all conditions and will vary widely. Summer mileage has been 1-2 mpg higher than winter.

Mileage, cool weather:
50-60mph on the backroads, no cold starts: 50mpg
Same as above, one cold start: 48.5mpg
65mph, highway: 46mpg
Worst highway mileage so far, 70-75mph with 20mph headwind: 40mpg
City, numerous cold starts/stops: 38-40mpg

'07 SG w/PCIII w/hub and map switch, Fuel Moto map tweaked by me for mileage in the cruise range, Rush w/Fuel Moto custom baffles, K&N AC, 78HP/94TQ

Sorry for screamin,
Just wondering if the low mileage is because of the 2008I heard they changed the cam in the o8 models
I winder if that screwed up the mileage.
I assume you're getting 32mpg stock, as the '08 PCIII wasn't released 'til yesterday. What conditions are you riding in that produce that gas mileage? Even if you're doing mostly city riding that's worse than I would expect, so if you continue to get lousy mileage after installing the PCIII try leaning the cruise range between 1-3k RPM and 0-20%, especially 2-3k @ 5-10% TP. Jamie's maps tend to prioritize performance and cooling, but you can improve mileage without affecting performance. Cooling will be affected by leaning the A/F, so you must be aware of the signals indicating you've gone too far.

Keep in mind your bike is probably not broken in yet and the weather is cool, both of which affect mileage negatively. Expect a few MPG better after a few K miles and warmer weather. Synthetic oil will likely help a bit, too, but wait 'til around 1-2k before weaning the bike from fossil oil.

ERIC WELCOME TO THE FORUM.......

I do not think anyone mentioned so I will...I ride w/ all wifes and mygear...rain, cold(sweatshirts), leathers, gloves, polishes, towels, maps...ect...I keep the rear trunk for what I pick up along the way. My point is that my fuel mileage is effected because of my weight...I check my mileage every time I can, just because I like to, it entertains me...Anyway...because of this weight I put a rear tire on at 3000 miles...which the weightdoes effect my mileage. I am willing to say I could get 48-50 w/ no weight (gear)

~2 up 39-40 Trips
~Just me 39-45

07 Ultra
TD V&H 1.75 Rush
TMAX
I love to turn the throttle...

Whoever is getting 45+ must be just putting around town I guess i drive pretty hard cause I'm lucky to get 30-32mpg on my 08SG with woods cams, sert ,and a 2-1 pipe just had it dynoed and tuned so no need for tweeking it is purring now.

I prob could get 40-45 if i tried but thats no fun riding like that

I live in San Jose and have almost 10k on my scoot already.

No Complaints

07 Road King, mechanically 100% stock

43 mpg commuting, 46 mpg with cruise set at 70 mph, 49-51 mpg riding two lane roads at 45-60 mph

near Pittsburgh, PA

and these are accurate numbers since I record every drop of gasoline ever put into the motorcycle
