LOL, That does seem off. I will have to double check my receipt. I keep them all, but I was on my way back to Elkton, MD from Seaford. It ay be a typo, but I will double check. Good catch! Maybe that is why my mileage is so off on that one!

I inadvertently put the price per gallon in the gallons field. I am so used to it usually being over 4 gallons, but i was with a group and decided to top off. The price is normally a calculated field I double check. This looks much better. The thing is the bike shut off on this trip and I sent this same spreadsheet to the dealer thinking I was losing MPG just before the problem. UGH!!

You guys that are getting over 50, must have some strong tailwinds in your area, drive like grandma, or failed basic math. I know a lot of guys that ride and no one has ever seen 50mpg. We had a guy say it once, and he was laughed out of the room.
I want to say exactly that everytime I hear someone say 50 MPG. I get the same crap with guys driving diesel pickups towing there 12,000 lb. RV's telling me they get 16 MPG or better. I don't think they have a clue.

My bike was advertised as 54 mpg for 2011 models. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photo...lideCustom.htm

Just because you, and FDHOG can't do it, don't even try to tell me I can't. There are a lot of people who get this kind of mileage.

1 picture..... 1000 words. 6 gallon tank ....... remaining miles left.......... you do the math.
