I inadvertently put the price per gallon in the gallons field. I am so used to it usually being over 4 gallons, but i was with a group and decided to top off. The price is normally a calculated field I double check. This looks much better. The thing is the bike shut off on this trip and I sent this same spreadsheet to the dealer thinking I was losing MPG just before the problem. UGH!!

Everyday riding I get about 33-35 that includes some 2up
Just got back from a road trip 2 up and averaged 40mpg 75-80 on hwy.
You guys that are getting over 50, must have some strong tailwinds in your area, drive like grandma, or failed basic math. I know a lot of guys that ride and no one has ever seen 50mpg. We had a guy say it once, and he was laughed out of the room.

My bike was advertised as 54 mpg for 2011 models. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photo...lideCustom.htm
Just because you, and FDHOG can't do it, don't even try to tell me I can't. There are a lot of people who get this kind of mileage.
1 picture..... 1000 words. 6 gallon tank ....... remaining miles left.......... you do the math.
