I must have something wrong with my 2008 Ultra. I just made the trip from Nashville to Panama City Beach. I had 520 miles on the bike when I left. I have the V&H standard slip ons, V&H Fuel Pak and Alin Ness high flow air cleaner kit. I was ruinning 80 - 85 in 6th gear using cruise. My low fuel light would come on at 130 miles. adding another 10 miles to that means i was getting 28mpg. Something has got to be wrong. Any ideas?
'05 EG Classic, tourpack stripped off for everyday riding... Stage II 95" motor: 10.25:1, 211SE cams, K&N filter /SE air kit, true duals, SuperTrapp slip-ons, PCIII with canned download (want to Dyno-Tune it soon):
2006 Ultra Classic SE, 103ci, stock pipes, HD race fueler. 32-36 mpg city or highway. Endlessly tweaking the race fueler to get more and nothing seems to help. I'd love to get 42 but I guess it's not going to happen anytime soon--
2008 CLASSIC WITH MODS AS BELOW...40 MPG @ 70, 35 @ 80. IF THERE IS A HEADWIND, ABOUT 10MPG. NOT REALLY BUT IT DOES DROP PRETTY DRASTICALLY....RIDE SAFE
