Hi,
New to the harley I got 07 RKC. I got the bike in November 07 used with 600 miles on it. Since then I put another 700miles and only avg 27-31mpg. Not riding much now to cold. Mostly all of my riding is 30mile trips on hiway at 55-65mph. The bike is stock why am I getting such bad mileage?

I am jealous of the gas mileage from all your bikes, not sure if you all have better gas than here in so-cal.
just put power commander on and i will seee if mpg changes

 

I rode L.A. to Victorville with 2 trips to work thrown in on my last tank. (3rd tank for the bike)

Averaged 36 - 37 with mostlyabout 1/3 fully highway miles.

 

'07 SG, Central VA/BRP, right under 50, pretty consistently. Stage I, RH, etc.

 

I live in Wooster Ohio (Mid state) I get about 38-40 mpg on my 08 ultra with PCIII V&H TD's and V&H basic slip ons. My 99 ultra got 45-48 with a teclusion fuel mgt system and V&H TD's samson muffs

I have an '07 ultra,V&H true duals,sert,k&n air filter,h-d 103 kit,older SE mufflers
I ride 2-up about 95% of the time
Mountain and flats average about 39-40 mph except when hitting the freeway at 75+ for a while
But I love the way it is running right now-do not want to change any of that

 

Sorry-I forgot to mention tHat I live in Chico,CA.-The real California and the bike has about 15,000miles. The mileage was not as good for the first 1,000 miles or so.
