I think you will be sick of looking at the color combination before it's paid for even if it's only 36 months.
I looked at those before I purchased my 07 RK and they where cool but I knew that copper color would get old real fast for me.
I can't believe some of color combinations Harley picks out.

 

ii saw the ad too www.harley-davidson.com/resolutions but i do believe its for the anniverasy model, butt ugly, but with the intrest savings, one could affordsome custom paint............. from HD or a painter

I just noticed, there is a HD banner add on the HDforums showing the 1.05% now. I always said the copper would look bad also, but I saw one at the dealer. I thought it looked kinda of cool in person. I would have like to see them make the copper a little darker like House of Kolors "Root Beer". I think that is a cool color.

 

I wish that deal had been available in July when I bought my bike. I like the copper/black color. If I wanted to be like everyone else I would have bought a black or red EG. Just kidding, that's why they have multiple colors so there is something for everyone.

Personally I think the "duracell" copper and black is one of the best colors HD has come out with in awhile....it was the only reason I bought a new one last fall. If you have only seen one in pictures I can understand why you might not like it, but at least for me, seeing one up close, and especially out in the sun really makes it look way better.

 

HD is offering this due to dealers having more models of the 105th than any others. They are a bit more expensive and were produced up front and production was scheduled to end on 31 dec 07. So dealers got their 105th bikes up front and of course the slow season is nov-feb. So HD is doing this to help clear out the 105th bikes. Currently they are more plentiful than other bikes. The deal does not apply to the CVO bikes.

 

I emailed the sales manager at a dealer here. He said he has at least 1 of every model and some 2 or more units for all the 105th.A buddy and Iare going to take a look at these this weekend. I think under msrp and 1% financing is a fair deal for a bike most people dont want. I will let the sales manager decide.

 

Local dealer has 3 or 4 of almost every model bike in the DuraCell Colors... The colors are growing on me for certain bikes too...
