RE: Lifts
I am planning on ordering one from Handy this Spring. I know if I am going to trust my bike on it, it has got to be at least a half assed good one. I am just not sure if my current compressor is good enough to operate it. Handy says all you need is to generate 90-100psi....I know my little Crapsman unit can do that, but Handy dont say if it has to be able to stay operating at 100psi, or if it only has to go up that high? I guess when I am ready to pull the trigger, I will phone them to get all the details.

RE: Lifts
Congrats on the new lift. I am sure it will work fine. Just check to be sure everything is bolted tight on the lift and you strap the ride down besides the wheel clamp. As for air required on the Handy lift. On mine I regulated the air to 100psi and it will lift my Ultra without a problem. Also once it is up you remove the air pressure and it rests on the safety stops. Never rely on air pressure to hold things up.

RE: Lifts
biz44, I have the Handy for lifting my FLH and the Wifes Softail and I agree with tcfamy, you only want to use the air to lift it but not hold it, use the safety stop which has 4 positions depending on how high you want to rest it at. I run mine at 100 lbs and it works great, you did not say how big your compressor tank was? You should have at least a 15 gallon tank.
