thanks Guy,

my two main concerns are grinding the rear piston (which seems to be no prob thanks to you and Phil... and my TB had to be made different on my last motor, so im not sure if it will work on this one. prior motor was short which brought the intakes closer to each other making the TB to wide, the stock one would fit but the HPI one was too wide... hopefully it will work... allthough ive got the baby TB right now at 48mm. i did change out the injectors to the screamin eagle ones that comes in the 50mm valve body... my stump pulling grunt should be fine, curious how high up the hp pulls with the smaller TB...

you running a quiet baffle on the d&d? i got the normal one for now....

Guy, thanks for the offer, and im sure i will be consulting you as i go....

Yep, running the quiet baffle in the Borzilla. It is really not all that noisy, very deep sound at idle, almost a Nascar sound to it under hard acceleration.

I stuck with the 50mm TB but who knows, there are enough of us that are making this build we will learn a bit about the fueldelivery and how it impacts both torque and hp. AllanW is no help at all , he is carbed.

Caution: The 120" build can be hazardous to your wallet. $5k is only the engine and crank work. Add $$$ if you go to a different clutch, exhaust, throttle body, rocker boxes, fuel management, air cleaner, chrome inner primary (hey-doesn't chrome make it go faster?) oil, filters, gaskets, etc.

Don't ask me how I know...

Its only money....that is easy to make. Now a quality big displacement build, making big numbers.....well that's a good bit harder to make.....but well worth it when your climbing that first 4 mile grade two-up loaded with all your travelin crap, and the only way you know your going up a hill is from the road signs!
