Default loctite

putting on some rush slipons on my RK tomorrow if they come today...got the new clamps...just wondering if I need to put loctite on the muffler hanger bolts

Aren't they held in place using lock nuts? If so then loctite is not necessary unless it makes you feel better. Use the blue or the red will make you cry when it is time to change the tire!

I haven't really scoped it out yet..(too busy riding)...was wondering what you all did and if it was really needed...yeah, I don't want any disassembly problems

Oh,sorry!I guess i would at least use some blue.
The dealer installed my SE's with red,it was a bitch removing them.I have used blue since then without the bolts falling off.

i would use loctite on everything, you will be suprised at what will come loose and fall off your bike.

I use blue.

Only use red on stuff that spins. (cam bolts, etc.)
