...just wondering if I need to put loctite on the muffler hanger bolts
i don't and haven't had anything vibrate loose.

Loctite? Toss that stuff out and get some JB Weld. Will keep everything nice and tight.

I always use the blue loctite and when in doubt I also add some gorilla glue....[sm=smarty.gif]

Loctite on the hanger bolts is unnecessary, as they use lock washers. Never had a bolt come loose in 10 years riding FLH bikes.

Blue Locktite will hold most anything on the scoot, but use red when when it is safety related. You can use a high wattage soldering iron to help remove bolts locked with red locktite. Just hold the soldering iron on the bolt head for about 20 seconds and remove it as normal. ( learned this trick from a Locktite factory rep) A soldering gun won't have enough heat for very big fasteners. That's the reason for one of the big old fasioned irons. Locktite looses it's grip when heat is applied!
