Default Baisley Spring? and Lifters??

Does anyone know what the current cost is for one of these?

Where is the best place to get it from?

With some pending motor upgrades coming, it will be a good time to install that spring while it's all apart.

Also, what is the part number for new lifters? I always hear them referred to as the "B" model.........but I need the full model number to order them up. With 27000 miles it's a good time to swap them out while it's apart.

Thanks,

Steve

Does that really cut down on the upper engine noises ? Is it worth it, if so I may look a little harder into it

I can never ever compete with those builds.............way over the top.

I'm sticking with my little 95", just changing a few things up to get a better running and a bit more powerful motor.

What's the deal with these lifters?

Anyone actually use them, or is it just safer to stick with the HD "b" lifters?

Steve if you look at my old posts when I did my 95 build on the 04, that is what I went with from Gaterman products. Lot cheaper than the HD and you can't tell the difference. The guy that runs the company was a former CEO of Crane Cams and went off on his own from what I understand. I got a set from him when he first started up. Never had a problem with them.

LOL...........the suspense is killing you

Yes, cams, headwork, bit more compression, releases. Everything else is remaining the same. New lifters, baisley spring........good time to do it while it's apart.

Still need to do my chrome fork legs too.

If you're changing the inner bearings and don't have a bearing shop near you, I went with a guy on ebay Harley House of Bearings right down the road from me in Brattleboro, VT. Good deal and got them fast. Gotta finish buttoning up my cams, but the damn shop is closed until Jan 2nd and I forgot to grab the gear lock tool and I need a larger spacer now too! Plus I'm still scraping together some money trying to get some adjustables Pretty broke right nowHoller if ya need anything on the fork swap. Waiting till warmer weather I think before I paint the new inner fairing.
