Do a search on the this topic.I bought my extensions from an online RV store. Others have bought in different places....do search, not hard to find them. I leave mine in all the time. 7000 miles with no tire balance problems. Works great. No more trying to get a tire reading or adding air into that impossible place.

anything you add onto your tires air valve, also increases the pressure against it while moving.
You can go to a PEP BOYS or AutoZone auto parts place and get valve caps that will indicate to you what you air pressure is (within a range).
If you are not too particular with having a black cap with a 'green' pressure range indicator.

It is a PIA to check and fill the tires on the RK, there is not alot of room to get the hand in there with the air nozzle or a gauge for that matter. I like to check once a week. Wondering if there is a decent looking 90 degree nipple out there to attach to the current stem to make it easier.
You mean this ?

I'd think that 90 degee extension would sure simplify checking the air in my air shocks. Its a PIA to remove the left bag, just to do the air shock thing. I'd just put it on and leave it. Where did you find it?

As far as a wheel is concerned, do you leave it attached, surely it would affect the balance of the wheel, right?

Hack
Hi Hack, I found it on the net in Germany
and had it shipped to me along with other goodies.
Works great on my RKC, and no problems with balance
Check out www.louis.de (site is in German) but there also
is a section in English for foreign customers.
Did some great shopping there ,and service is very good !

Greetz,
Peter

For those running tubeless tires, you can install a right angle valve stem at your next tire change. Here's where I got mine.

You're correct, it is a PITA to check the rear tire pressure. I'm middle aged and fat but I still just use my 'official genuine HD tire pressure gauge' while laying down on the ground with the valve stemat an accessible position to check it.

I just open my bag lid to get to the shock valve.

Captjon37 has posted a good site for the 90deg extensions at $3 each. I paid more for my valve caps. Thanks for the info

I bought one of those cordless air pumps with the clamp on chuck. Problem solved, and it resides in my garage next the to bike. Do my car with it too. Also serves as a jump start battery!
