There is no fix. Save yer money for new chrome stuff and don't waste it on snake oil.....There is so very much of it out there!...And so very little time and money to buy it and bolt it all on[:@]

well polished/clean cromewill hide small scratches,only thing that ever worked for me for a few days til the scratches collected dirt again[:@]

I think it's only noticeable because it's new, and your focusing on it. If the mrs. is unhappy with it, maybe I will see if I can order a new heat shield from V&H, thats where the scratches are.

Semichrome, Semichrome, Semichrome!!!!Once just isn't enough.Good stuff, it won't take out sctraches but they will be real shiny.

Leave the screaches as they are. Chrome is only about 1 mil thick and you will end up going through it to the nickel plating under it and will look worse than it does now.

Once chrome is scratched, it's scratched forever and no polishing or witches brew will make it better.

Be very careful when using simichrome. It will polish off the finish. (It is great onstuff like solidbrass.)
