Not a problem. I have them on my 07, but keep in mind that you will be limited to the location, variation of positions. Course, I'm 6'6" with a 37" inseam, so those suckers are all the way out.
If you're refering to the "universal" mounts with about a 3" extension, the answer is yes. They have to be mounted lower on the bar, with the clamp facing forward, and pointed outward at roughly 15 degrees. Then the 3" extension is rolled back towards the rider, putting the peg roughly even with the crash bar. I use 2 mounts - when the lowers are off, I use the simple clamp and peg. With the lowers on, I use the "universals" with 3" extensions. Trouble with the universals is they're so flexible, you have to hold them in place with both hands, then get somebody to tighten the things while you hold them. No way in hell anybody other than an octopus can put the things on by themselves....
