what is the best seat for '07 road glide for someone over 250# and 6'5" tall??

For what it's worth, I'm a lot closer to 250 than I am 6'5", but I really like my Corbin Classic Solo. A seat is a very personal thing though. If you can find a Roadie with your same handlebar set-up and different seat, try them out if you can. Stock HD seats suck.

 

I'm 6'4" 265lbs.....
I have tried both a SUNDOWNER & CORBIN Dual Tour.... The Corbin will set you back a lower then the SUNDOWNER but the SUNDOWNER Deep Bucket worked well also for a little less $$$
Have also tried the Tall Boy seat in the past and didn't like it at all

STOCK SEAT IS PERFECT FOR ME.. IN FACT I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I 1ST RODE THE BIKE WITH THE STOCKER.. NEVER THOUGHT I NEEDED ANY OTHER.. WONT GET ANY OTHER. WHATSYOUR COMPLAINT ON THE STOCK SEAT ?
MY 03 ULTRA SEAT SUCKED. ITS GOT AN HD ROAD ZEP.. AND ITS GREAT

 

I have the Sundowner Solo w/passenger pillion.
I lkie the looks of it (solo) but I found it moved me forward from the stock location.
My plan is to take it to Rich's Upholstrey in Seattle and have them work it for me.
I have heard nothing but good about his shopand work.
Sidenote, I'm 5'10, 240 trying to work the 240 down, stuck with the 5'10 at this point!!

 

Kwoozn just an option check out mean city cycles does a fantastic job plus he is a forum sponser do a search nothing but good things said did my stock seat and it turned realy good

 

only been able to ride about 40 miles since i got my new 08 glide due to weather, but the stock seat SUCKS, badly.
ordered a new mustang as soon as they came out a couple of weeks ago. haven't got it yet, but it's what i had on my road king for five years prior to the new glide and i loved it. i'm 6'2" and 275 and it did seem to raise me up just slightly on the rk. worth it for the comfort. plus i kept my back rest from the old seat. a new sundowner plus back rest would be a lot more than just the mustang seat alone.

Have the Sundowner and is great for the most part. After 14 days and a little over 4,000 miles last summer on a trip, I was wanting something better. I am sending it to BadX and he is going to redo the cushion with the works and I will be testing it out on an even longer journey this June

I'm only 5'10" and 250, but I've had the stock seat (sucked-100 miles max), a Mustang (good for a 500 mile day, with breaks) and now my Road Zeppelin. I think I could put some serious miles on the RZ and never look back....
