Here's a couple pics of a customer's RG I powder coated some black accents on. Hopefully this helps.

I have the 10", works great except for touring.
I don't use the rubber stripping at all.

I will be ordering the Klock Werks windshield before Spring.

Hope this will be form and function.

This is what I was planning on doing with mine. Get a second weather strip and glue one to each one of my windshields. Then I can easily swap to either one. That powder coated black HD trim strip sure looks nice though. A bit more stealth than chrome.

I rode in this morning to work. It was about 39* out. I really did not feel any difference in temps or hard wind buffeting due to the shorter windshield. The only real difference I noticed was an increased amount of wind rush noise around my ears. I'm pretty impressed, because my field of vision is much improved with the shorter height. I am 5'8" and my line of sight with the stock shield was right at the top edge, give or take an inch. This is much better.

The Ebay seller was bikersdelight. The link for the ended auction is below. It was $49.00 shipped to my door.

Sorry, forgot the link

That trim looks awesome especially on that orange bike with all the other black parts.

You could probably sell a ton of those to all the "blacked out" owners here. Think about it.
