I got to ride today in NW Ohio
It's about time, I got to ride about 60 miles today in a balmy 45 degrees in NW OH. It was a really nice day and no bugs on my wind screen. It may be the last ride of the year as tomorrow and the rest of the week is forcasting 30's and rain/snow. I'm just glad I got out one more time, I had to bring her down from the lift and unplug the tender, but that only took a couple minutes.
Rode down to the local dealer and was looking at picking up some Heritage bars for my RK. back & shoulders get sore after riding more than an hour and I've heard that the Heritage bar bring the grips back enough to really make a difference. They didn't have any in stock, but I can get them for around $50 so they will be on order shortly. I also looked into a stage 1 upgrade. I already have some V&H slip ons, but the estimate for the SE pro tuner, SE air cleaner, downloads and dyno tune is $1100. Sounds like a decent price from what I have read, but I don't think I'll be able to get that past my wife. May be next year
The ride home was a bit chilly as the temps dropped with the sun. It was around 32 when I pulled her into the garage. Now I need to get her washed again real quick so to get the salt off of everything. I often wish I was in a warmer clime, oh well.

RE: I got to ride today in NW Ohio
djamann, I live in Mid Ohio just East of Columbus and took my FLH today for about a 100 mile ride, Ice and Snow are on the way so just had to get out. As you already have the V&H Slip on's, you should look at the Stage 1 Air Cleaner and go with a PCIII to modify your fuel map. Check out FuelMoto http://www.fuelmotousa.com/for the PCIII. Just tell them what add on's you have (V&H and Stage1) and they will pre-load the correct Map before they ship it. No need to Dyno. You should be able to install both yourself and save about $550. Also if you make any future mods like Cam's or another exhaust you can just remap the PCIII again.
