Default Better Cams for 103 SE Stroker Kit??

Hi all.

I am putting the 103" stroker kit on my 2005 FLHRI. I have not heard a lot of positives about the SE-253 cam that comes with the kit. I've been told the SE-255 is the way to go, and I have also been told that the SE-204 and the SE-260 are options. I am looking for strong low-end torque. I am not concerned about the top-end boost.

Any ideas?????

Woods TW-6

Set your compression at 10-1, and you'll be good to go.

If you go to Latus Motors @ latus-harley-davidson.com they have a lot of dyno graphs which will allow you to answer your own question I believe

i have run the Se 255, 257, 211 and a number of crane camson my 103 bikes. At the end of the day--i now run the woods tw6-6. There is NO better choice in my opinion. If you insist on a SE cam--the 255 is the best bang...i got 110TQ an about 90HP on my 103....which was stock harley heads-not modified-with just the 103bb kit and sert and hi-flow with pipes.

I've had Woods TW5G, Woods TW6, SE 203, SE 211 in prior bikes, and currently SE 255's in my SE Stage 2 103" build. I like the SE 255's the best of them all.
