Default 95 build

I am taking my 03 Ultraclassic to Custom Performance after Christmas to have Nick Trask do a 95 build for me. I am currently running andrews 26g cams, a supper Trapp 2X 1 exahust pipe with 17 discs - closed end caps, and SE air cleaner. My question is will I needmore air flow both on the intake and exhaust? How many discs are you Supper trapp users using on your big bore builds? Would it be better to go with the Zippers up grade for the intake, or will the SE work for me?

I would think you may need to add a disk or two, but it's been a while since I messed with that type pipe. I had a WhiteBros E-Series, which was thepredecessor to the SuperMeg.

Steve (MUC) did a good bit oftesting with a config very close to whatyou have. I bet he can help on disk count. If you have one of the S/E filters already (as long as it's not one of the ones w/blue rubber around the edges), thenit willbe fine for your build. If it is one if the blue ones, I would replace it & the Zippers would be a fine replacement.

Danni : Check out my replys in the Engine / Fuel / Intake / Exhaust forum entitled " Hippo build started with pic's " . I had Hippo { Frank } at SBC in Tempe build my 95" 2002 FLHTC motor a few years ago and I have listed my parts with an end result of 99.36 hp. and 98.61 ft. lbs. and a good strong / streetable / reliable build . I used S/E heads { # 16952-99A } heads with only an upgrade in oil seals, NO head work otherwise, Just a little FYI [sm=smiley20.gif]

Phil,
Thanks for the advice. I have been watching your 98 build, as well as Steve's 95 build over the past year or so. You guys are my inspiration.

My 95" produces 98hp / 98 lb ft tq! I am presently running the SE ac and 20 discs with the closed endcap on Supermeg! Pretty damn strong motor also!!
