Wrap it in newspaper and take it to your painter. If your asking the question you may not be up to the job.

I have heard of a prep product especially designed for these type plastics, and it was mentioned in an earlier thread. As far as painting I have been painting for years and yes i could use the old ways, But was looking for a better prep product to assist in cleaning the inner which has finish the collects silcones that make it tough to prevent fish eyes. Dont like doing things twice if some one can help.

I have already repainted the outer fairing, tank and saddle bag and have the base, the pearl and the clear paint.

If I did that for every job, I'd never learn how to do anything. Most of us weren't born with all this knowledge and had to learn by asking questions.

What I have learned over the years is that if you ask how to do something and apply your self with discipline and not be in a hurry you can do anything. Dont ask me how I know this, but I do.....[sm=bounceybounce.gif]most of the times it comes out better than if someone else did it....

*shrugs* I kind of like the contrast the black plastic offers. But my bike is eye-bleeding white. If the bike were a softer color, perhaps I'd look into it.
