Cold weather and decal popping???
I've noticed an increase in decel popping on my 96" since the temp has been in the low 30's. I'm assumingcold air effects the air/fuel ratio differently. Is this correct or not related?

Although its not too cold in Miami, I am getting a backfire when I start the bike for the first time in the morning.

The colder the air the more dense it is.......so theoretically the engine is a bit leaner with the cold weather.....I dont know for sure. Mine dont do it.

RE: Cold weather and decal popping???
I have the same problem. Not a lot of popping but before it got cold I had none. Now I get some and wondered what was causing it.
