I ride solo (with wife) most of the time and like it, but would ride with a small group of like-mined riders in terms of safety, etiquette etc.

 

I can do the group scene only briefly....Parades and charity stuff only.

I don't like passengers or anyone in front of me...I fersure don't like anyone riding beside me or behind me.

I'm planning some long trips for next spring and focusing on getting the bike ready and what to pack. I've gotta lose the laced wheels and get the fairing/tunes installed and a few other things, but when I do departI will be alone.

All a guy needs is plenty of cash and free time, a clear credit card, a hammerless pistol, a cell phone with good coverage and a membership with AAA or HOG.

I've got plenty of friends I ain't yet met.......So I'm going to go visit them soon.....Where ever they happen to be....and I'll leave them there

 

Like many, I think this poll is too generic. I ride with a M/C, so I'm comfortable in a large, tight pack, but I cherish the time I ride with my wife on the back and it's just the two of us. I also like to take trips with other couples or friends when there are 2 or 3 bikes on the trip.

 

the worst thing about any size group is if i havent rode with that particular person, i want my space! dont know you or how you ride keep your distance... ive had a few guys that think its cool to ride side by side, witch i have done alot WITH PEOPLE I KNOW!, sort of my peeve.. some people cant make a turn in there own lane let alone riding beside another... keep the stagger, keep the distance, do not come into my space.... if ya need to talk, get my attention first...

Looks like more bikers are like me, would rather be on my own, but will occassionally ride with a small group of 2-6.

I just don't like BIG groups of riders - Like a Toys-for-Tots run. There's always some idiot that doesn't know what he/she's doing. Hate the accordion effect.

I often ride solo, However, when I do ride a long distance in a small group, its always the same small group of people. We know how each other ride, we all enjoy the same things, and we ride well together.

Group normally consists of me and the wife and 2-4 other bikes. NO MORE than 6 total...

Now this year, its gonna be just me and the wife taking off for parts unknown. We have two weeks in ZJuly, and we are gonna take a family vacation. Daughter will be on the back of mine, Wife's bike is Solo rider only..
