Default RE: Isolated drive system

Ok, I have to ask.. I got my Bagger in July 07, I put 3.5K on it. I never had a touring model before. I really haven't noticed anything wrong, But then agian maybe I don't know what I should be noticing. If I go with IDS will I see a difference and where will I notice it.
My dealership is offering the elbow grease discount, and I'm still not sure if something I need, or is it somthing that will prevent untimly wear to the bike.
Any help on clearing this up would be great.
thanks
Mike

So far so good on the IDS had it done 2 weeks ago (along with the Stage 1 a/c and SE slash outs and ecm flash) the bump up in power was great smoother shifting and a lot better sound than the stock pipes. Now if the weather would break for a few days!!! The dealerI used for this did the ids install for the 100$ that HD paid under the elbow grease promo but charged about 250 for the pipes/stage 1 and ecm.

Did I read one of the post correct That HD is offering it to all 07 owners?
Is that free of charge? Like part of a recall?

Just got the winter 2007 SHOPTALK in the mail. Has an article about the IDS. The article pretty much says it all.

The article mentions low RPM riding, vibrations, and shift dog rattle. Never heard about the shift dog before. I wasn't hearing a lot of noise from my bike before the IDS because I ride it like my XL keeping the revs up around 3000. I do think the bike is smoother with it though.

It's worth every penny. No more noise in 5th gear, smooth shifts.
Big improvement & cheap for the amount of difference it makes.
