Default Sundowner seat question

I have a sundowner seat question. Is there a difference in feel or shape between the roadking plain seat and the street glide stiching. Also any difference between a regular and a deep bucket? I know there major difference is stiching but any other notable differences?

Only difference is the stitch pattern, same seat. Sundowner has got comfort & style, arguably the best looking/functional 2-up seat that Harley sells.

I bought a Sundowner for my RKC after me and my wife took our first semi long ride. It was only about 250 miles one way, but about every 60 miles or so she would start moving around back there and we would have to stop so she could rest. Although the RK is a touring model, the stock seat is not nessicarily a touring seat. Especially for the passenger. I found that the Sundowner is a bit wider and lower for the rider and quite a bit wider for the passenger which equals more comfort for them and a more pleasurable ride for the rider. Mine has a deep bucket and took a little while to get used to during break in. Now that I have several thousand miles on it, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I don't think you would be sorry in the long run. Hope this helps.

I have one for sale... only better, it has the memory foam mod by Mean City Cycles, the best of both worlds, a Sundowner with MCC mods!!!!

I like the Sundowner for my bike. Comfortable andthe model specificstitching matched my RK Custom backrest. Rider lower back support is better than stock and it has a thicker/wider passenger cushion.

Yeah the sundowner is the best seat I have sat on to date. I am going to buy one now that the dealars are all offering huge savings for the holidays. I just wanted to be sure. I am going to get the plain road kind stich for my street glide. I am not a huge fan of the street glide stiching down the middle. Thanks for the offer Kansasroadking, I am looking for the plain stich.
