Default 2-up on a Street glide

I was wondering how much weight, and comfort is it on a SG.
Me: 330 lbs; wife: 180 lbs.......Avon tires: I have to check the rating. I rode a yr w/o the OL...she wants to ride now.

But anyone else ride 2-up with our sizes with no/any problems?????

I would recomend replacing the shocks with the 13" units. And get a better seat for your wife.

Check out progressive 440's. They can handle a load. And definitely get her a new seat....that'll keep her outta ur ear.

I would recomend the standard length shocks. I am sure a member would trade you a set of standard for a lower set.

500+ pounds is a lot of weight. You're going to need Progressive shocks for certain.

I weigh about that, and have had an occasional rider of 180 or so on my Softie! (friends given rides, not my wife)
It's a deluxe and lowered as well.

Go for it, you will know in 2 minutes whether it works or not.
