My fuel gauge and speedo does it if the dew hits it at night, the next morning I'll go out and they will have a lot of moisture in them.

It IS normal and will clear up in a short time. It does suck that they do this. Never had damage from this happening, knock on wood....

It happens a lot and cannot be right according to my thinking..

sometimes it stays there for days; on my old bike it also happened if left in the sun a lot.

But you know what, Harley dont give a **** about it and wont cover it!!!!

Has anyone ever tried to seal the gauges up so the moisture wont get in there in the 1st place?

'07 FLHX same here. If you park the bike in direct sun light it will evaporate. Or take a hair dryer to it and the vapor will be gone in 5 minutes.

My fuel gage always fogs up after I wash my scoot but it clears up after some sun warms it up.

What really pisses me off is my cruise control stops working after I wash the bike. It doesn't work for two or three days or until the switch dries out. I plan on replacing it this spring to see if this helps...

Remember, only 95 days til spring...[:@]
