Have not tried one but I did see one at a bike show very sturdy. If your just looking for one to do service to your own bike buy a cheaper one fromSears or Harbor freight.

These are very sturdy lifts but they allow you to only work on one side of the bike at a time. You will need to let the bike down, reposition it on the other side and lift it back up. Not a good jack if you need access to both sides of the bike at the same time.
My mechanic uses one in her shop in the tire changing department. Works great.
If you have he room, you're better off with a table lift.
