Default You guys are costing me $$$ but... (HQ Build)

Well I settled on a set of HQ 500C cams for my 07 SG. In matter of fact they showed up on my doorstep today. However after reading everyones posts you made me change my mind and go to the full sport touring 103" build. I knew it was only a matter of time before I went to that anyway.

So Phil, Manish, Spike, and many others for making me change my mind. I am sure I will be much happier when it is all said and done. My wife does want to have a word with all of you though. lkr0 put me over the edge when he stated how easy it was to break the back tire loose. That was all that I needed to hear.

So any advice on this build. I am hoping to have the parts by next weekend.

B.T.W. I have not told my riding buddies that I changed my mind from the cam only to the full 103" build. It should be a lot of fun once I get it broken in. Manish let's see some pictures of how you are hiding your compression releases.

Merry Christmas everyone.

don't tell your buddies anything. Wait until a playful time and blow them away. Of course they will say something like you didn't mention this. so what?

might as well go for it --- you only live once--if it was not so late I would go outside and practice my burnouts---seriously compare the price of the 103 sport vs. the 113 sport --- looking at it in big picture not that much difference in cost---

That coming from the guy building a 120" LOL

lkr0 You really are a troublemaker. No I am sticking with the 103" for now as I do not want to get into case boring if I can avoid it. I know this is an addiction but I do want to stay married and I will save the extra money for extra tires.

Kong actually Phil is right. If this is where you are headed it is cheaper to do it once. I will send you a PM with a few ideas too

You should be able to work on the wheelies, they are not nearly so loud!

... and you can see the sparks from the dragging pipes at night.

So Phil are you ready for your trip to Atlantic City? j/k

Any advice for the build would be appreciated.

Wheelies and burnouts will be easily accomplished with the new build then?

Thanks,
