An installed rider backrest should be mandatory before the bike leaves the shop/garage.

We are always happy to lend a hand when it comes to spending other's money.
You will be glad you went to the 103, you would have ended up there eventually, and at a higher cost.
Add another rider to the list of power junkies

[>:][>:][>:]Jealous as hell. Gonna be a few years before I can do an HQ build myself. Note to self: Do not get into a race with any SG in the Atlantic County area. It might be tom73[8D]. Congrats & look forward to hearing the results.

I won't be getting the riders backreast but I will have Popeye's forearms by the end of the summer.

Rininhoj I will reach out when I am done so you can see for yourself how this set up does. I am not responsible however if you decide to do it right away. Where are you at in Camden County? If you ride to some of the local spots in South Jersey you likely pass my house, Greenbank or Lower Bank Inn.

Where the hell is that darmn UPS driver? Looks like temps in the mid 40's next weekend but no rain. Good enough riding weather.

So Phil are you ready for your trip to Atlantic City? j/k

Any advice for the build would be appreciated.

Wheelies and burnouts will be easily accomplished with the new build then?

Thanks,

Listen to your friends, they are right.Go for the gusto, it only hurts until the first time you whack the throttle, then you say it was worth it.

Mopar PM sent

Started breaking it down today. Tank, exhaust and etc removed. It looks like a low rider now.

tom73,
I'm in Magnolia, home of the WaterIce Factory. If it where 2 weeks later I say me you & mopar7 should get together for a build party like them Texans. But if I were in your shoes, HQ parts coming the week before Christmas, nothing would stand in my way either. As for passing your house, for ridding I'm all over that area if I have no place to go. The 'Banks, Chatsworth, EH City& then up towards Cream Ridgefor some roads with a little more curves & texture.
Any how, just wondering what your doing for a tuner & also what clutch plans you have? Good luck with the build & keep us updated.
mopar7,
Your about in my backyard. Again keep us up to date when you do your build.

A stock bike is a sign of a sick mind. Or an empty wallet.[:@]

For a tuner I am using the SERT in conjuction with the HQ Protuner. For the clutch I am up in the air still. I am going to give it a go with the stock clutch and may just add a spring. If I get a lot of slippage then I will have to look into something else. The old bikes, although it was lighter, clutch held up fine with 100/100.

As for getting together for the build you are welcome to stop by. I am hoping the parts will be here by Friday but it may have to wait until the following weekend. Regardless we will hav to have a few post build cocktails like "those Texans". No way will mine bea coffee either!
