Default Extended Reach Footboard Kit

I moved my footboards out 1" using an extension kit. Question: Will the HD Extended Reach Rider Footboard Kit PN 58900-98B fit on my UC with the extension kit installed?? It looks like the boards will hit the lowers. I am 6' 8" and need all the leg reach I can get. I installed an E-Z Brake Pedal which was a BIG help.

They should work. But they will only move you forward .75". Check out these, they will move the board forward 2". http://wildbillscycles.com/brackets.html

Yea, I saw that. That is a drawback. I don't know if I want to trim my lowers. I will keep looking and will probably go with the HD kit.

What are lowers? I need a couple more inches ( alright . that could be taken wrong) . I have the tall boy seat, The passenger floorboards in the way when backing up & stopping, wanted to angle them like the footrest on the engine guard and get extended foot controls.2013 Road King classic. Maybe go with some mini ape hangers. I just want it to fit and look good.
