RE: Street Glide / Wind Buffing ?
+1 for Gunrunner. The SG screen is 4" and the stock EG screen is 12"--short screen + moving bike=wind buffeting. I have a 4" screen for my EG and it is similar to riding without a screen from the armpits up. For traveling I use an inexpensive 8" dark smoked from Americanthunder ~$25 on Ebay.

I had a SG back in 06 and i didnt keep it long for a few reasons and the biggest one was at speed (60+) i got a lot of head buffing, I do wear a full face helmet in the winter and that is when i bought the bike and i never got to ride it with a half helmet to see the difference. I want another SG but i dont want the headache i got from the wind buffing. A taller wind screen is not the answer as i think it takes away from the look of the SG. So what im asking is do any of you get head buffing with a half helmet?

RE: Street Glide / Wind Buffing ?
I'm 6'2" and I get no buffeting with the 10" and very little with the 8". That said I got my buddy to buy the 8" and 10" for his SG. We also installed the baffel between the forks. These changes helped a lot, but the lower fairings make the difference between some buffeting and no buffeting. Huge difference with the lower fairings really.
I'm hoping for a SG some day and it won't leave the showroom without lowers. I think they look great.
