get the mirror extensions, they will raise the mirrors about 2 inches

 

I'm loving my fairing mount mirros. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they actually vibrate LESS than the stock handle bar mirrors...and the cleaner/sleek looks cannot be beat.

As far as wider or narrower view, I don't really recall whether I have a "wider" view with the fairing mounts...

 

I switched my stock mirrors out to the skull series that I took off of my sporty before trading in. The work great on the FLHT, extend the view just a little and I get now vibration in the mirror when on the road.
