RE: No tags for new bike bought in Oct
So what are they doing about it? Dealerships sometimes do lose paperwork-it's all just humans doing what humans do. They need to be getting on the horn to the manufacturer and getting a replacement MSO. Of course, the manufacturer doesn't want to re-issue the MSO if the if the original has been run through. Either way, they need to be up-front about what they are doing to rectify this and issue you another temp tag in the meantime.

The only one that will win if you do what the lawyer is telling you to do is the lawyer. He will make a ton of money off you and you will still owe on the note, Talk to the dealer, get them to explain what they are doing to rectify the situation and give you a new paper tag so you can ride. Good Luck.

If its a MSO problem....then the MOCO should have no problem getting the dealer a copy of the original MSO. If it is some sort of other problem, I would ask the dealer (go to the top on this one....dont talk another word to the salesman, speak with the GM or owner ONLY) to explain themselves. If you are not satisfied I would talk to your State DMV about it. Why should you have to shell out for a lawyer for their mistake?

Somebody's feeding you some b.s., probably never submitted the paperwork for the tags. At the very least they need to figure out a way to put ya on the road now and I'd be bucking for a gift card. By the way thats a nicely decorated garage, I'd like to see some pics of your house

same thing here. sporty was bought out of state. Jerk at the tag service told me i had to send it back(cert.of org)to dealer for signature(could have either let that go or I should have forged it) sent it back and dealer lost it!! Now dealer has to get new one from moco. tick, tickt, tick. 30 phone calls.tick, tick 6 months later, finally. Only reason i did not totally freak out was that this is a back-up bike seldom riden
