How can I tell which Progressive shocks I have?

Default How can I tell which Progressive shocks I have?

They say prgressive on them and are coil-overs. the only other markings on them are a string of numbers 1370 90-130. No 412 or 440 or any of the other common referrences. Oh, and they're black if that makes any difference.

Yes I have. Some look close but none match exactly. The bike is an '05 and I'll assume the shocks were put on some time near new. I figure minor cosmetic changes are normal from year-to-year. I still really can't say which ones they are for sure.

Call Progressive and give them the # you posted.

They have 2 tele. #'s: 877-6907411 or 714-523-8700

Not sure. How would I tell? They're painted black from head to toe.
well, a magnet sticks to steel, not to aluminum.....

the numbers you gave are the springs, if I remember correctly these are the standard springs not the heavy duty ones. the 412 requires a tool to adjust them the 440 are adjusted using your hand
