This Would only work if you have fairing mounted mirrors. Harley dealers sell a helmet lock that bolts behind your tag that works good.

How about a simple padlock through the D rings and around one of the mirror stems?

That was good info.
Since I have fairing mount mirrors.
I called Kuyakyn and they gave me the dimensions. I think it will work.
Ordered one for the bike.
When I mount it and all I will post pics.

Thanks Pappy

Run the strap through the D-ring like you do when you put the helmet on your head and hang it on the handlebar grip. Then run a handgun cable lock through the D-ring and around the controls or mirror stem on the bars. Cable locks are cheap, if you're real tight, check with your sherriff's dept. Most give them away in the interest of gun safety.

What are the dimensions?
Height ?
Diameter?
It should work on my Ultra since I have the fairing mirrors now and have the open mirror mount hole.

I just usuallylay my helmet on my seat, LOL. I have a cheaper helmet, and live in a state that does not require them, so if it gets ripped off, I will not give a ****. Plus, it would give me an excuse to buy another helmet that I really want. LOL. But, I guess then I will want to strap it down. Another thing that I do, if I am going to be away from the bike for any length of time is to strap it onto my highway bar, with the ineer part of the helmet resting on the highway pegs. Sure, if someone wants it, they can still undo it, but the same goes for any lock. All they would have to do it cut the strap... I'm just saying...

+1 Buddy does that on his sporty when parking in places where a helmet can disappear.
