Yes, I can understand the frustration, usually the title is enough to choose whether you want to enter a discussion.

Truth of the matter is most come here more to just talk about their passion. Yes, we all have experiences that make us and expert in something with our bikes, but how many of the discussions are really nothing except and excuss to talk about Harleys. Even more, touring Harleys. Everytime time I walk out into the garage and see my Road King, two things happen to me. One is I want to go fireup her up. And two, I want to find someone to talk about harleys and Road Kings.

I'm all for trying a new idea to help folks along, but I come here to talk Harley.

Thats the way motorcycle forums are. Many of the same questions over and over.
Nothing you can do about it,so just ignore them if you're not interested in the post.

Exactly. And sometimes the most interesting exchanges arise from questions that have been asked and answered many times. This forum serves a social purpose as much as an informative one.

I know that no one uses the search function, and that is a forum plague everywhere, hell some guys don't even use google first. But, if it's a sticky at the top, where all the picture of your rk stuff is, it would be right there blaring at you. I'm not talking about a separate FAQ page that won't get used either.

beary, that's exactly my point. It'd be easier to talk HD's if you didn't have to wade through some of the same ol crap every week.

It's just something I saw on another forum that I thought was a good idea. Thought it might serve us well here.
