RE: YOU SHOULD BE WARNED! REVOLUTION PERFORMANCE, TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!
Ya think a post like thisis going to cost him A LOT more money than doing the right thing?Word of mouth about a business(good and bad) travels fast and good companies realize this. ~ Nothing like word of mouth advertising, good or bad ! There are too many good , upstanding companies out there to screw around with a Mickey Mouse outfit like this , do lots of research before dropping your $$ ..........

There has been quite a few threads concerning this on the "other" forum site--quite a trainwreck to say the least.
The pics posted are scary.
There is no way I'd put this product on my bike from some of the stuff I've read and seen.
I don't think GMR carries this product anymore..don't know about HQ??
Best of Luck..

Hotpursuit, I have noted some quality issues described on the 'other' site as well. I had already made a 'note to self' to steer clear of RevPerf. Just another note, in your post, you stated you had cast guides installed. My understanding is cast guides are used in 'off-road' engines that are using leaded gas. The lack of self-lubrication of unleaded gas willlead topremature guide wear. Silicon-bronze guides or similar are the ones you should be using. FWIW..

That is too bad. I have been a personal friend of Brian's for years although haven't used alot of his product. He supplied aluminum alloy nikasil cylinder for my 883 flattrackers and I have had nothing but stellar luck and Brian was always there if I needed him. Definitely a bad situation. I can say that working at a buisness dealing with several customers ondaily basis I would have to agree with Sleepman. Diplomacy is much more professional than cursing. Sorry for the luck, Thank You for the post.

Not the 1st time I've read about problems with their products, makes me glad I didn't jump on a 98" kit from them when I was looking into it last year. Makes one wonder how long it willbe before the death spiral starts taking place and they go out of buisness.

this is exactly what the info I received when trying to decide between HQs 103 and 107
I've read other reports of their nikasil cylinders scoring, offering customers recoatedcylinders, etc. which iswhy HDFers considering them ususally get a PM with threads and pics showing the problem. Yes, HQ offers them for sale, but does not recommend them to customers.
