Hi guys,
I have been looking at a purchasing a new 2008 Ultra Classic. I have seen one in pacific peal blue, which looks great, but from the HD web site the white gold pear and black pearl looks even better. Does anyone have pictures?

A buddy has the white and pearl black....I'd seen it on the showroom and not paid much attention to it. But in the sunlight....wow! Both thewhite goldand pearl black (becomes more of a charcoal) really have depth to them. Photos will not do justice.

 

I bought my pacific blue Pearl Ultra Classic in october,thought it looked good at the dealer,but once I go it home and waxed it, WOW , I have since added anout $2,000.00 worth of chrome and such,i will try to post a pic when I get home.

 

I would suggest visiting a dealership and NOT depending on the internet to make your decisions.

Look at several different bikes if they don't have the Ultra in all the colors on the floor.

I almost bought another color based on what I thought I liked on the HD website. It would have been a big mistake.

 

Here's mine. I love the color, especially in the sunlight!

Really need to see them in person ... even better if you can see them in sunlight. Some of the colors are night/day if indoors/outside and too much flourescent lighting can really screw w/ the colors as well. Personally, I really like the Pacific Pearl Blue / Vivid Black combination. YMMV.

 

Color is such a personal choice, there always seems to be one that jumps out at you and hooks you. In the 07 lineup the red and black Ultra really caught my eye, I almost went for it, but I happen to see one of the 08 "Duracell" Anniversay Ultra's and told my wife that was the one I had to have. As with all the other color, they look way better in person than looking at pictures on the internet.

 

as someone once told me, harley makes two colors, black and ugly. remember , i didn't say it, just repeated it!!! ride safe
