Default Ultra as daily commuter?

Still on the fence about the 08 Ultra and wondered how many of you guys ride your Ultra's as a daily commuter?

Thanks!

Bill

Better to ask "who doesn't".

I do everyday it's safe too. Except it is crated up and on it's way to Berlin now. But no snow, or ice and I'm on my Ultra.

I use mine as a daily every change I get. I have never had any reason not to. Put about 75 mi a day. I bought the thing to ride so I always ride when weater permits.

I like it for a daily commute. Was concerned originally about the size. Turns out it is more of an advantage then a disadvantage. As long as the weather report is less then a 40% chance for rain and temperature is 40 degrees and higher I am riding (comuting)

Same here. I put on 100 plus a day.

Well, not right now due to winter, but I ran three weeks straight in the fall when I got it.

I commute to work on my bike as long as it's above freezing. That's how I managed to put over 27,000 kms on it in a year. Ride it every chance you get.

This is the reason why I went to the ultra! I got tired of my 'weather permitting' choppers and went straight to the 'screw the cold, I am ridding' ultra.

I live in Idaho and am still ridding to work...2005 Ultra
