I commute on my Street Glide almost everyday. Like most here, I don't like getting wet on the way to work. On the way home doesn't bother me so if the outlook is for afternoon rain, I'm riding. I'm living in Florida now, but I did the same in Virginia with the exception that my temp limit was 30 degrees. Anything lower and my hands would freeze. I never bothered to get electric gear since I was planning on moving eventually.
Outside of weather...why wouldn't you ride it every day....what's so different about riding an ultra versus another harley? Am I missing something in this question?
Yup...ride mine just about everyday to work. I've not found the sizeto be a problem until I have to back it up into a parking spot. The Ultra is a great comfortable bike to ride down the highway or in your neighborhood.
